At the start of each project we meet with the client to understand their needs and visions.
Doors and windows are designed to enhance the house and can be added to a renovation
or fitted in a  Sala Terrena house.
Designing any space, be it kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, dining or sitting area,
the space, function, finish and beauty are fundamental to each area and piece of furniture.
Andrew will play with designs until they marry with what the client has in mind.
We can combine glass, metal and carved wood into our creations.
We also have a line of standard wood and metal products that are unique to
Plantation Furniture, like our traditional Swahili doors and windows.

With 20 years of experience, creating beautiful interiors and quality furniture,
we can bring your dream to life.
Doors, windows and decor.

The types of woods we use depend

on the clients preference but we encourage the use of sustainable woods.

Fitted furniture can be molded into the room, following the natural curves and

be completely custom designed.  Or a design can be chosen from our standard line of unique designs, which encompass

anything from wild and wonderful to

traditional family heirlooms.

Handmade Furniture

We work mostly with locally sourced wood such as coconut, neem and mango, plantation cedar and teak, as well as dead standing wood.

We aim to reduce waste by using our off cuts to create beautiful wooden crafts like our statement-making mixed wood chopping boards and trays.

The Workshop

Led by the General Manager of the company, Christine Nyarangi,

the workshop team is supervised by a Foreman

and an assistant Foreman.

The team is divided into a team of machinists, joiners, fitters, welders, helpers and finishers.

All of them are highly skilled and trained to our standards, with alot of experience working with Andrew's designs.

We pride ourselves in creating equal opportunity

for women and disabled people and welcome apprentices to come and learn the trade.
